amenu helps restaurants publish their menus online and helps guests find and remember dishes. This page explains what information amenu keeps, why, and what you can do about it.
Restaurant owners
When you sign in at amenu.app/owner we keep:
- Your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and profile picture Google shares with us. We do not receive your Google password.
- If you use a password, a secure hash of it. We never see the password itself.
- What you add for your venue: its name, menu, prices, photos and widgets such as your review link, Instagram handle, WhatsApp number, hours or Wi-Fi details.
Anything you publish on your menu, including Wi-Fi details you switch on, is public to anyone who opens that menu.
Guests
You can read a restaurant's menu without an account. If you use the amenu app, your dish diary, saved places and points are linked to your account so they can follow you between devices.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To show your venue's menu to guests and keep it up to date.
- To answer you when you contact us.
We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who processes it
amenu runs on Supabase (accounts and database) and Cloudflare (website hosting and image storage). If you choose Google sign-in, Google handles that step under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can change your venue's details at any time from the owner dashboard. To get a copy of your information or delete your account, email us and we will do it.
